Biography:
Dr Melanie Kershaw is an experienced paediatric endocrinologist working at the Birmingham Woman’s and children’s NHS Foundation Trust. She is the lead for specialised Medicine in at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. She delivers clinical care for children with endocrine disorders and diabetes. In addition she provides clinical expertise, education and advice about CHARGE Syndrome. Familiar to many families, Dr Kershaw also manages Birmingham’s multi-disciplinary CHARGE clinic with Professor Kirk. Her key areas of research interest include diabetes and Rare Diabetes in Children. She is also chair for the West Midlands Diabetes network.
