Reverend Denise Jones

Church of England Chaplain - Women's Hospital

Denise is a Church of England Priest and Senior UK Board registered Chaplain Co-ordinator for supervision and training; she is also a member of the College of Health Care Chaplains (CHCC). She provides pastoral, religious and spiritual care for patients, their families and staff; she also supervises and trains a team of multi-faith chaplains with the goal of achieving gold standard chaplaincy care.

Denise is passionate about supporting patients and their partners through times of miscarriage and baby loss. She prides herself in conducting unique and personalised funeral services appropriate for patients that have experienced the life-changing experiences of pregnancy termination, miscarriage and baby loss.

Denise is also trained as a mental health care chaplain and counsellor. She has a great desire to support people through difficult times of their lives and to pass her knowledge and experience on to trainee and assistant chaplains.
