Location and services

The Ear, Nose and Throat clinic runs by appointment every weekday and is located in the main outpatients department of the Children’s hospital, on the ground floor. Appointments at this clinic may also include hearing testing when needed. Senior medical students from the University of Birmingham also attend some of our outpatient clinics - if a student or visitor is present in a clinic you are attending, your consent to their presence will be checked.

Planned inpatient care usually begins in ward 17, Waterfall House, but may also begin in the Surgical Day Care unit or other wards. Many wards at our Children’s hospital care for ENT patients. One of the main ENT wards is Ward 5, on the first floor.
