Investing in communications and engagement
Effective communication has always been integral to success, more so today than ever before with the constantly changing world we live in.
When done well it inspires, shares knowledge, celebrates success and so much more.
Coupled with genuine engagement it can help generate support and rally others to work together to achieve a mission; it is also shown to improve patient care and outcomes.
That is why BWC is investing in its Communication and Engagement team and recruiting to a number of posts including introducing a number of new ones focused on internal communication and supporting our operational team and hopefully shortly expanding our use of visual media and the introduction of apprenticeship roles.
This is an opportunity to be part of a unique Trust – the first of it’s kind in England; we tell the stories of cutting-edge paediatric surgery, new genetic therapies, specialist maternity services and life-changing care in the second largest city in the UK.
We’re also leading on transforming child and adolescent mental health services as well as playing a key role in the future of staff wellbeing across Birmingham and Solihull.
The challenge of working in the NHS has never been greater but the benefits and rewards are many including the chance to be part of a team changing and saving lives each and every day.
