Fiona Reynolds

Fiona joined Birmingham Children’s Hospital in 2002 as a Consultant Paediatric Intensivist and held a variety of clinical leadership roles. Between 2007 and 2010 she was the clinical lead in PICU, overseeing a major expansion of the department. She was appointed as Deputy Chief Medical Officer in 2010. In 2012, Fiona led implementation of BCH becoming a Major Trauma Centre. In 2015 she was appointed as Chief Medical Officer and has led many quality improvement projects improving patient care across the Trust. Fiona was appointed Deputy Chief Executive in 2022.
