Latest e-edition of talk BWC now available for free download

Our latest edition of talk BWC, the Trust’s monthly news publication, is now available to read. During the last few months, as we’ve responded to the challenge of COVID-19 (coronavirus), we’ve been exclusively publishing digitally. It’s easy to get your free copy. Simply click the PDF link and download to your device. Our e-edition also contains all the live online links for ease of use.

As always, it’s packed with the latest news from across our Trust including information on how we’re safely restoring services paused during the pandemic, how our #OneTeamBWC has come together to show solidarity against racism and details on how you can nominate once again for our ABC Star of the Month Awards.

Our Head of Physiotherapy and Orthotics, Rekel Kerr, is the focus of our popular ‘A Few Minutes With’ regular section and our inspirational Paediatric Intensive Care Unit Junior Sister, Nichola Hewitt, shares the path of her journey into the profession as we continue to celebrate International Year of the Nurse and Midwife.

Our world’s first Lifting Spirits Virtual Choir is also featured, along with a round-up from our Life and Birth BBC documentary series and Charity Virtual Big Gig, which featured performances from soul legend, Beverley Knight and lead-singer of The Vamps, Bradley Simpson.
