A Day in the Life of the Estates Admin Team – Birmingham Women’s Hospital

What is your team’s name?

We are the Estates Admin Team based in the Estates Offices at the Women’s Hospital and there are three members of the team.

 

How would you describe a typical day/ shift?

We are the first point of contact for anyone contacting the Estates team. We take and respond to phone calls throughout the day and raise orders for supplies to enable our teams to complete their duties. We also support our colleagues wherever necessary liaising with teams across our sites.

 

What do you enjoy most about your work?

We like that we are often called upon to help solve problems with our colleagues who are working on the wards and across the hospital. It is good to be part of the wider organisation.  

 

What achievement are you most proud of?

We are really proud of how well we work together as a team to get not just our own daily tasks done but in assisting and supporting the Estates department as a whole to complete their work.
