A Day in the Life of the Estates Projects Team – Birmingham Women’s Hospital

Estates Projects Team Aaron Masih What is your team’s name?

We are the Estates Projects Team based at the Women’s Hospital and there are three members of the team.

How would you describe a typical day/ shift?

We go through three different stages in our work: busy, challenging, satisfying. We are always busy in everything we do, it can often be very challenging work, working on multiple complex projects at any one time but the end results are always satisfying and it is great to play a part in the work that we do.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

Ultimately our goal is to make the patient experience better for all who spend time in our hospital. We feel we are making a difference by contributing to work that essentially improves the services that the hospital provides.

What achievement are you most proud of?

Delivering challenging projects and exceeding targets. We are thrilled to be part of the Woodland House project as this will be a fantastic achievement for the Trust to help patients and families along the bereavement path.

Not a lot of people know this but……

Paul Scott likes black and white movies and Aaron Masih like kickboxing.
