Dr Jonathan Lancashire

Consultant Paediatric Haematologist

After training at the University of Nottingham Medical School and undertaking training as a haematology specialist, Dr Lancashire was appointed Consultant Haematologist at our Children’s Hospital in 2017 where he is the haematology transfusion lead.

Dr Lancashire looks after children and teenagers with a wide variety of blood disorders, through both inpatient and outpatient services. He has a special interest in non-malignant haematology and bone marrow transplantation. He is a member of the UK & Ireland Paediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Group and the UK Forum on Haemoglobinopathy Disorders.

Dr Lancashire is an Investigator for a number of Phase III trials currently open within the department.
