Mr Darius Mirza

Consultant Hepatobiliary Transplant Surgeon

Darius Mirza studied Medicine and did his early surgical training in India before undertaking a two year Transplant Fellowship at the University of Vienna Hospital. He came to Birmingham in 1991 to train further in adult and paediatric transplantation and hepatobiliary surgery. He was appointed as Consultant Transplant Surgeon in 1996 and was appointed at our Children’s Hospital, along with the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham in 1997.
