Spiritual care training and conferences
The Centre for Paediatric Spiritual Care is committed to experiential learning. We run occasional spiritual care activity days when visitors from other hospitals, hospices or organisations have the opportunity to work alongside a Children's hospital staff member for the day and learn about how we work.
We currently work with the Midlands Institute for Children, Youth and Mission and Staffordshire University delivering accredited modules at level four and level seven in spiritual care and paediatric chaplaincy-related topics.
We run at least one module a year and these include four study days at the Children’s hospital including one focusing on activities with patients. It is possible to attend the modules without completing the assessment.
