Referral information
We only see patients following a referral from a doctor.
We also welcome email referrals from professionals for advice and guidance, ideally attaching good-quality clinical photographs with appropriate patient consent.
GPs can make advice and guidance referrals via Choose and Book.
Consultants can seek a teledermatology opinion by emailing a referral letter and photographs to bwc.derm2@nhs.net.
A consultant dermatologist is always available out-of-hours to provide emergency dermatology advice to doctors. You can contact the on-call dermatologist through the hospital switchboard (0121 333 9999).
Courses
We run annual courses for both dermatologists and paediatricians.
