One-Stop Maternal Vaccination Service
Vaccinations are important as they protect your baby when they are at their most vulnerable.
The following vaccinations are offered:
- Whooping cough – given from 16 weeks and up to two months after birth (postnatal) all year round.
- RSV (respiratory syncytial virus), which causes coughs, colds and bronchiolitis – given from 28 weeks up until birth, all year round.
- Flu – can be given anytime during pregnancy up until birth, from 1 September to 31 March.
These vaccinations are inactivated, meaning they do not contain a live version of the virus it is protecting against, and cannot cause disease. None of our vaccines contain gelatine, pork or egg-derived ingredients*.
