Biography:
Jan Idkowiak works as a Consultant Endocrinologist at Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital (BWCH) and a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Birmingham. Jan works in the Department since 2017 and has obtained his clinical and research training In Dresden, Germany, and Birmingham, UK. Jan loves the adrenal gland and is interested how abnormal adrenal steroid hormone production affects childhood development and metabolism. Some of his other clinical interests include Differences in Sexual Development (DSD) and Childhood Obesity.
