Another unforgettable night at our BWC Spirit Awards 2024
Our BWC Spirit Awards gives us the chance to celebrate the amazing work of our colleagues right across our Trust. Our 2024 instalment, which had a carnival theme, was another fantastic occasion enjoyed by all of our nominees and guests.
The iconic Edgbaston Stadium, home to many unforgettable world-class performances, was the fitting venue for 2024’s glittering ceremony attended by around 260 colleagues, which included all of our finalists chosen from more than 700 nominations.
The air was filled with ambition, bravery and compassion throughout with stories of individuals and teams all going above and beyond, living our Trust values for our women, children and families.
Chief Executive, Matt Boazman, said “As always, it was a real privilege to just be in the room for the ceremony. It’s such a special atmosphere.
"You can’t fail to be humbled, inspired and immensely proud when you hear the stories of colleagues across BWC going that extra mile.
“Congratulations again to every single nominee, our finalists and winners. Thank you for your ambition, bravery and compassion.
“We’re already planning for 2025.”
This year’s BWC Spirit Awards were made possible thanks to the fantastic support of our charities and our event sponsors Sodexo, Verse One, Proact, Healthnet Homecare.
A special thank you also to Ed James, who brilliantly presented the ceremony, our entertainment, the dancers and Samba drummers of Tropicalia, glitter artists, Diabla, our AV and DJ, Divine and our very own Carnival Comedy troupe made up of young people from our Children’s Hospital.
