BWC wins Gold Standard ENEI TIDE 2024 award

BWC is very proud to have received the TIDE Gold Award from ENEI in this year’s benchmark.
The Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion (ENEI) is a non-profit organisation based in the UK. ENEI assists employers in building and sustaining diverse teams and inclusive cultures through membership, training, and consultancy services. Talent Inclusion and Diversity Evaluation (TIDE) is ENEI's comprehensive tool for self-assessment, evaluation, and benchmarking. It is designed to help organisations assess and improve their culture, with a specific focus on progress and strategies for promoting diversity and inclusion.
BWC has won the 2024 Gold standard TIDE award, which recognises the Trust’s demonstration of excellence in diversity and inclusion, being listed in their top 20 companies.
Darren Lamb, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager commented: “The assessment is used by many NHS, and non-NHS, organisations to benchmark their position on aspects of inclusion and also to guide areas of improvement. The assessment is broken into several areas, so our accreditation and achievement reflect a multidisciplinary team effort. Areas assessed include communication and engagement, recruitment and attraction, training and development, strategy and plan, and leadership and accountability.
“For the past two years, we have received silver accreditation, so are extremely happy to achieve gold status this year. This reflects the Trust’s continued commitment to developing an inclusive workforce, enabling us to provide the best care to the diverse patients and families of Birmingham.”
