Co-production wins at the National Learning Disability and Autism Awards 2025

Award winning moment, colleagues on stage with Peter Andre

Congratulations to Ted Page, Clinical Educator in Learning Disabilities and Autism and Elise Ross, Oliver McGowan co-trainer with lived experience of autism, for winning ‘The Partnership for Co-produced Training’ Award at the National Learning Disability and Autism Awards 2025. The pair were recognised for their Oliver McGowan mandatory training achievements across the Birmingham and Solihull area.

The pair were invited to attend the ceremony at Birmingham International Conference Centre on Friday 4 July. Ted said “we really weren’t expecting it and were absolutely taken by surprise when celebrity guest Peter Andre called out our names’.

Elise said “I am so proud to be part of the Oliver McGowan training team, delivering the training and sharing my experience. It has been so healing for me. To top it off the amazing work we have done as a team, we have won the Co-Production award at the National Learning Disability & Autism Awards, what an amazing achievement”

Well done to both Ted and Elise for their compassion and ambition in the roll out of the mandatory Oliver McGowan training.

The National Learning Disabilities & Autism Awards celebrate excellence in the support for people with learning disabilities and aim to pay tribute to those individuals or organisations who excel in providing quality care.
