Forward Thinking Birmingham announce refurbishment and temporary closure of Oaklands Hub

As part of the development of mental health services in Birmingham, the Oaklands hub is going to be undergoing refurbishment.

The refurbishment will include new decoration to walls, and floors to make the space more inviting for service users and colleagues.

The hub will be closed for two weeks from Monday 12 August to Friday 30 August.

Damion Begley, General Manager for FTB Community Service said: “Our phone will continue to be operational and will be answered during this time and clinical work will continue throughout the closure, but with different ways of delivering the service.

“The site will only be open for prescription and medication collection.”

Your clinician will be in touch if there is any changes to your treatment whether that be making it virtual or attending a different FTB hub whilst the renovations take place.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work to enhance. If you have any queries or concerns feel free to contact your clinician.
