If you’re travelling to our hospitals by bus – Please note: Bus strike to start on Monday

Bus drivers in Birmingham, the Black Country and Coventry are expected to go on strike on Monday after a new pay offer was refused by National Express staff.

This will cause significant disruption for colleagues and patients as National Express provide 93% of the bus services in the city.

Three city centre services will be operating (the X4, 51 and 87) for the Children’s Hospital with the X21 running for the Women’s Hospital. Services by other providers such as Diamond, Arriva and Stagecoach are unaffected.

You can find a list of the strike day services here. A National Express Journey Planning tool also shows the route those services are taking and is available here

Unions say the strike will continue indefinitely until further notice.
