Louise's 'above and beyond' support makes a difference to a colleague

Louise presented with her DAISY AwardA member of the team nominated Louise. They wanted to recognise the kindness and compassion they showed them during really challenging times.

In 2023, Louise offered immense support to her colleague who had suffered miscarriages. She was there, every day, at the end of the phone to support and listen.

She ensured adjustments were made so, upon return to work, they didn’t feel overwhelmed. Louise was by her side, signposting to avenues of support.

When her colleague became pregnant, Louise continued to be there, helping ease fear and anxiety.

“I feel so supported by Louise. As a manager, she is inspiring. Not only with her management skills but how she supports her staff within the DICE and Learning Disability teams. She makes coming to work a joy.”

Well done Louise on being one of our first DAISY Award winners.
