Nailesh Rambhai joins our Board of Directors

Nailesh Rambhai BWC is pleased to welcome Nailesh Rambhai who is joining our Board of Directors as a new Non-Executive Director.

Nailesh is an experienced corporate lawyer who graduated from Oxford and has extensive experience in banking, finance and energy, working with companies around the globe.

He was born in Rugby and has practised at a number of companies, including locally as Group General Counsel and Company Secretary for Coventry Building Society.

Nailesh has lived and worked in Canada, the USA and South East Asia in a global career, including as General Counsel and Company Secretary at Petronas.

He recently completed an assignment working for the COVAX Facility as part of the international response to the covid-19 pandemic.

Nailesh is a Non-Executive Director at the Pension Protection Fund and an Associate Non-Executive Director at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He is also a Trustee of the charity United Way UK and was previously a Non-Executive Director at the Belgrade Theatre.

He said: “It is a great honour to be joining BWC. I look forward to lending my experience and perspective to support the inspiring work that it does for women, children, families and communities in the Midlands and around the UK.”

Professor Sir Bruce Keogh, the Trust’s Chair, said: “I am very pleased to welcome Nailesh to the Board on behalf of everyone at BWC.

“He brings with him a wealth of experience from a number of sectors, including the NHS, that I am sure will be a great asset to the Trust and the women, children and families we serve.”
