Over The Wall bring their activity camps to the Midlands this summer

BWC has been working with Over The Wall (OTW) Children's Charity to provide an outreach service for our young people and their families.This summer, OTW will be running 3 Midlands activity camps to help empower children with a health challenge.

Safer Sleep Week – Neonatal Pathway Education Rebecca Uddin shares her advice for parents with newborn babies 

Rebecca Uddin has been a Neonatal Pathway Educator at our Children's hospital since last year and worked within neonatal care since 2013, offering valuable advice to parents and families on how to keep babies safe during sleep. We asked Rebecca for her expert advice to families and parents on providing safer sleep for infants, to improve development and reduce cases of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). 

Three-year-old Reya-Mae undergoes new ‘Super’ speedy and less distressing sedation method

We said hello to three-year-old Reya Mae, our 100th patient of our Super Sedation Project, and mum Maureen Bent after they visited us for the celebrations. The Super Sedation initiative offers young patients that ability to try and alternative form of sedation that is quicker, easier and less distressing to administer for young children like Reya-Mae.
