Quality Improvement Virtual Recruitment Day

At Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, we pride ourselves on our commitment to a Quality Improvement culture that is embedded and harnessed through all levels of our organisation. Every member of our 6,500 staff should strive to improve the services they offer for our patients, service users and families.
Our Quality Improvement team is a driving force behind this culture – supporting the design of an ambitious improvement strategy for the organisation and helping staff to make improvements in their own teams and services.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the team to recruit to several posts, through various pay and responsibility levels, ranging from Improvement Support (administrative position) to Improvement Leads (experienced QI practitioners).
For this recruitment campaign, we’re doing things a little differently. Rather than prescribing exactly what roles we need, we’d like to hear what you can offer our team.
We’ll consider a range of types of roles – permanent or secondment positions; full, part time or flexible hours; clinical, project professionals or those with just a keen interest in Quality Improvement.
Would you like to know more? If you can answer yes to one or more of these questions, come along to one of our Virtual Recruitment Day Sessions and talk to us:
-
Are you a ‘people person’, approachable and with excellent communication skills?
-
Do you embrace diversity and inclusion? Are you ambitious to help all staff achieve their goals?
-
Are you a fantastic administrator, able to organise and coordinate a team?
-
Do you enjoy working fluidly, comfortable to work with a variety of teams and individuals across a range of locations?
-
Have you got experience of planning, coordinating or delivering education – or are you keen to develop these skills?
-
Have you got an interest in Quality Improvement and experience of ‘making things better’ in previous or existing roles? Or have you got experience in Project Management or support?
-
Have you got experience in designing or supporting strategies or different approaches to Quality Improvement?
We’re holding two open day sessions, where our Associate Director for Quality Improvement will share more information about our ambition, the team and what posts we have available. We encourage you to attend one of these sessions if you are interested in applying for any of these jobs. The sessions contain a 20 minute presentation, followed by an optional 40 minutes available for questions and discussion.
