Aqeela Choudhry

Rest of the West Midlands Public Governor

Becoming  a governor is a privilege for Aqeela and is her chance of contributing to the health and wellbeing of the West Midlands community.

Being so passionate about the NHS, Aqeela wants to be part of the productive and successful team at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS foundation Trust and also wants to work to improve the quality of care, and service delivery within the NHS.

Having years of experience working as a nursery nurse and also a support teacher she believes she understands the importance of providing an excellent health care system which will work for everyone.

Aqeela has two lovely children who were both born at the Women's Hospital. Aqeela wants to make a positive difference to patient's lives, by collectively building on ideas and initiatives to put patients first, and wants to go above and beyond to meet their needs. Thus playing a vital part in being part of the trust.
